Next appenig Destinations..In News Honda will invest 2,500 crore to expand production capacity of its Tapukara facility in Rajasthan. It will be Honda’s first fully integrated diesel engine plant in the world.

To expand our business in the country, we are starting our preparations to create new capacity and are investing a total of Rs.2,500 crore towards setting up of a new assembly line for cars, a new diesel engine component production line and a forging plant at Tapukara in Rajasthan,” Matsumoto told reporters here. The 437-acre plant would have an installed capacity of 1.2 lakh cars annually and would be ready to roll out its first car next year, he added With the setting up of the new car assembly line at Tapukara, HCIL’s total installed capacity will go up to 2.4 lakh units annually. The new assembly line and the forging plant will generate employment for 2,200 people by 2014. The Rajasthan plant has 1,400 employees right now.

Apparel City to Come up at Tapukara,Bhiwadi .

An apparel city is to come up at Tapukara over the 250 acre land with leading garment manufactures reaching the final stage of discussion with the state government.

This project is a private initiative of 19 prominent textile manufacturers of India with support of central and state government. The project will fetch an estimated investment of Rs 450 crore and will generate around 35000 direct jobs, said Mr Naveen Mahajan (Managing Director RIICO).

Haryana govt approves plan for ManesarBawal Investment Region.

•The Haryana government on Thursday,18April, 2013 approved the Draft Development Plan (DDP) for the Manesar-Bawal Investment Region (MBIR)-2039.

•The plan was approved after a meeting of the state level committee of town and country planning department, chaired by Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda.

•The DDP for the Manesar-Bawal Investment Region has been prepared for the projected population of 32 lakh people with urban area of 40,232 hectares.

•Under the first phase, from 2011 to 2021, 8,800 hectares will be developed.

•The second phase, from 2021 to 2031, will see 15,000 hectares being developed.

•The third phase of MBIR will be completed by 2039.
