The Medical Council of India is a governmental organisation that accredits medical colleges and hospitals, registers medical students, and oversees medical practise in India. MCI approval ensures that colleges meet the standards and are suitable for students to study in. The Medical Council works to ensure that the standard of medical education for Indian students is maintained. In addition, the MCI provides an important eligibility certificate. The Indian students will be unable to practise medicine unless they obtain this certificate. For Indian students, to study MBBS in Philippines has become much easier. Because the MCI approves the majority of medical colleges, Indian students prefer to study MBBS in the Philippines. When compared to Indian medical colleges, the cost of studying MBBS in the Philippines is also lower. The course duration is also shorter, and the clinical practise equipment is of world-class quality. Because the medical colleges in the Philippines are based on the American educational system, the degree offered is MD. Because of these and other factors, Indian students prefer to pursue their MBBS in the Philippines. According to the approved list of Foreign Medical Colleges, there are 40 mci approved medical colleges in Philippines. Indian students can study medicine at these universities and return to India after graduation. After passing the NEXT / MCI Test, students will be granted a doctor's licence to work in India. The MBBS course is known as MD in the Philippines. It follows the same undergraduate curriculum as MBBS. Please do not mix this up with MD in India. The entire course is taught in English at all four universities, with only a few clinical classes in Tagalog. Only the 4o MBBS Universities in the Philippines accept Indian students, and these are all privately owned. There will also be a Tagalog language class in each of the 40 universities, as students will be required to interact with local patients in their final year. Some lessons will also include Latin Terminology. In the Philippines, the MBBS / MD course is divided into two parts, with an additional NMAT exam: • Part 01: A two-year BS course (Bachelor of Science). • 1VMAT Exam: Following the completion of the BS, there will be an entrance exam called NMAT. • Part o2: four years plus a one-year internship in India. Students will have three chances to pass the NMAT.
