CALL FOR PRESIDENT OF GO GREEN SKOPJE The citizen organization for sustainable development and environmental protection – Go Green Skopje opens a public call for president. Go Green invites every citizen activist to apply for governing body of the youth environmental organization. According to the Statute of the organization, the president has the following rights and responsibilities: Article 17 The president of the organization is also the president of the Governing Board. The president is elected by the Assembly of the organization. The mandate of the president is two years with the right for reelection. Article 32 The president has the following rights and responsibilities: • Convokes the Assembly • Signs the Assembly’s decisions • Manages the work of the Assembly •Conforms to the Assembly for his duties • Prepares reports for the Assembly • Prepares the Governing Board meetings and the Assembly with the executive director • Represents the organization in Macedonia and abroad Mandate: March 2015 - March 2017 The person who is a candidate for the position for president should have the following characteristics: Exceptional will for citizen and youth activism; Interest in climate change, waste management, renewable energy sources and energy efficiency; Experience in strategy and long term planning; Good communication and analytical skills; Experience in cooperation with Government institutions and foreign organizations; Experience in financial management; Devotion and responsibility. All candidates must attend (personally or via skype) the assembly on 21 March, 2015. Time and location will be appointed later on.
