2022
Our vision is for all people to encounter and know the love of Jesus. With eight billion people in the world, it seems ambitious, doesn’t it? Even more, when you realize that 3.5 billion of those people have never heard of Jesus, you may wonder why our vision is so broad. Wouldn’t it be easier to focus on the United States or even just Atlanta?
Jesus’s final charge before ascending into heaven was given to us on the Mount of Olives near Jerusalem. He said, “You will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth” (Acts 1:8). While we are called to be witnesses close to home, we are also commanded to go to “the ends of the earth” to spread the news of Jesus.
Through our partnerships with like-minded organizations around the world, we did just that in 2022. It may have been a construction project, a medical clinic, sports camp, staff training, or a Christmas celebration. It could have been during a home visit, a prayer over a family, or by offering an encouraging word. This past year gifted us with so many opportunities to show up and bear witness.
None of what you read in this report could have been accomplished without our partners, journey teams, long-term missionaries, and donors. Day in and day out, everyone plays a part, and collectively we’re making a world of difference!

Long-Term Missionaries
Global(x) prepares, guides, equips, and encourages our long-term missionaries as they inspire people to follow Jesus wherever they serve around the world. In 2022, global(x) commissioned six new long-term missionaries from our local churches who were called to serve in Uruguay, Mexico, Uganda, and Ecuador.
Each of our 29 long-term missionaries has committed to at least two years of international service. They serve in 18 different countries around the world, planting churches, offering hope, providing encouragement and support, building community, and sharing the gospel.
We are continuing to see God grow the faith of those we have the opportunity to serve and see the witness of Christ through the work we get to do.
