HOUSE OF LITTLE SCIENTISTS: COLA House of Little Scientists: Cola Synopsis / The House of Little Scientists aims to engage pre-school children with science in a playful way. This is done via observation, examination and easy-to-understand experiments. For example, the contents of cola are investigated by letting the young researchers carry out small experiments where they discover the role carbonic acid plays in the sweet beverage.
Synopsis / Holograms may soon be able to change our way of seeing and perceiving things. The holographic technique involves the creation of a three-dimensional image, which can be contemplated from every side. Live holographic transmission from a football stadium could enable action on the pitch to be observed from every possible angle and football players could be seen as 3-dimensional projections - without the need for 3D glasses! “Holography: Genuine 3D Vision“ shows us how this can be made possible. Hologramme könnten in Zukunft das Sehen und die Wahrnehmung verändern: Bei der Technik Holografie wird ein dreidimensionales Bild erstellt, das von jeder Seite aus betrachtet werden kann. So könnten zum Beispiel Live-Übertragungen per Holografie aus einem Fußballstadion möglich machen, das Geschehen auf dem Feld aus jeder beliebigen Perspektive zu verfolgen – Fußballspieler als dreidimensionale Projektionen, ganz ohne 3D-Brille. Wie das geht, zeigt „Holographie: Genuine 3D Vision“.
Das Haus der kleinen Forscher möchte Kinder im Vorschulalter spielerisch für Wissenschaft begeistern – mit Beobachtungen, Untersuchungen und leicht verständlichen Experimenten. So werden zum Beispiel die Inhaltsstoffe von Cola thematisiert, indem die jungen Forscher mit kleinen Versuchen herausfinden, was es mit der Kohlensäure auf sich hat, die sich in dem süßen Getränk befindet.
