Mr. Burnett: In my previous email I said it was my last attempt to capture your imagination, but I have changed my mind. My supplemented proposals of August 9 and August 10 were returned to me with a cover letter from Meredith Ambrose. She references a reasonable policy of not accepting unsolicited proposals in order to avoid misunderstandings. However, there is no chance you will receive any similar proposal. Due to the nature of the show, there is no risk of a potential conflict or complaint from a competing writer or producer. I am certain that if given the opportunity I can demonstrate good reason for you to have full faith in my capabilities regardless of the fact I have no experience in television. This is merely a detail to be dealt with, as it is continually in the reality show genre and with far less interesting people. Ask your kids if they would like a show about a competition to build a human powered helicopter that can hover. Let some of your producers brainstorm on my core idea, perhaps as a contingency plan for any unexpected show cancellations.

Sincerely, George MacArthur
