Netflix is not a Christian company, and they do not share Christian values. That much has been apparent for a long time. Most of the original shows created by the company are designated as TVMA.

Like the rest of secular Hollywood, they produce programming that they know children will be drawn toward, while claiming that the shows are intended only for teen and adult audiences— shows like the animated Super Drags, which is about three homosexual cartoon “superheroes.”

But Netflix’s attempts to influence society do not stop with the shows they produce. This company also seeks to influence the laws of the land, as evidenced by their pledge earlier this year to boycott the state of Georgia for

passing a pro-life law. They also reportedly pledged to work with the ACLU to “fight” the law in court.

Is this evidence enough to say that the company is unworthy of Christians’ financial support? If not, Netflix has now decided to broadcast a “Christmas special” openly mocking Jesus Christ and depicting him as a homosexual. Netflix reportedly has 60.6 million U.S. based subscribers. Will we (believers) literally pay Netflix as they mock God?

At what point do we decide to support Christian media instead of sending money every month to people who blaspheme and oppose our Lord?

There is a Christian alternative to Netflix.

It’s called Pure Flix.

Does it have as much to offer as Netflix?

No, currently it doesn’t.

But what if every Christian Netflix subscriber switched over to Pure Flix tomorrow? Would Pure Flix have enough resources to produce high quality, well-written, expertly produced movies and TV shows in pretty much every major category?

Yes, they would.

Christian media is making progress and gaining market share but the warriors fighting to produce content that glorifies Jesus Christ can't do it without our support.

The body of Christ must unite by voting with our wallets.

Then our media improves, grows and speaks life.

Hallmark recently caved to the demands of antiChristian forces.
