On a long drive to my mothers to help her with some odd jobs I was anxious about how busy things where at home, but I knew she needed help, so I had to go.
Then it hit me...
Like most seniors, my mom is on a fixed income, and it was near-impossible for her to afford regular home services help. The small issues that kept popping up caused her stress because she had no idea who to call for help.
There was no affordable generalist in the home service space, and no product I could trust to help us with the little things she used to do on her own when she was younger.
She didn't need a caregiver or a personal support person.
She just needed a few odd jobs looked after.
And that's how Custodia was born
