GOCO Hospitality has acquired the Glen Ivy Hot Springs Resort, an iconic hot springs resort in operation since 1860 that welcomes over 180,000 annual guests. The Hot Springs Resort is within a 90-minute drive from downtown Los Angeles and San Diego. Natural hot mineral spring water flows from deep in the earth and the famous resort enjoys a loyal following. The resort sits on 82.6 acres of land, of which the hot springs facility utilises approximately 20 acres. GOCO Hospitality is currently developing on the adjacent 62 acres a world-class wellness resort community. GOCO Retreat Temescal Valley is surrounded by organic orchards, the Santa Ana Mountains National Reserve and the adjacent Glen Ivy Golf Course.

From 2000-2006 Ingo served as a member of the Operating Board of the Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group. During his tenure, he established the Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group’s Lifestyle Division from the ground up. Responsible for the worldwide operation, design and development of 15 spas on four continents, Mandarin Oriental’s strong holistic roots, unique leisure hospitality concept and wellness centres are credited to his ingenious vision.

During this period, Ingo won 2005’s ‘Spa Personality of the Year’ award for his visionary approach to the integration of wellness and leisure services in the hospitality industry, in addition to the ‘Spa Marketer of the Year’ award in 2006 for his innovative and effective marketing approaches. Under Ingo’s leadership, 2006 saw the Mandarin Oriental voted as ‘Best Spa Company’ by the European Spa Summit and SpaAsia Magazine. Ingo’s design and concept work for the group was also honoured with the prestigious ‘Gold Key Award’ at the ‘Excellence in Hospitality Design’ event held in New York City in 2007. Prior to Mandarin Oriental, Ingo was Managing Director of the Rafael Hotel Groups’ activities in South Asia. He co-founded Ananda In The Himalayas, India’s first destination wellness resort located in the birthplace of yoga and Ayurveda, Rishikesh. From 1996-1998 Ingo was the Group Director of Operations for Oberoi Hotels, where he headed the development of four new hotel projects: Cecil, Rajvilas, Udaivilas and Amarvilas, transforming the landscape of Indian Hospitality. Under Ingo’s stewardship, Oberoi Hotels became a globally recognised luxury hotel group and focused the world’s attention on Indian hospitality. For his work with Oberoi Hotels, the American Academy of Hospitality Sciences recognised him in 1998 with the ‘Hotelier of the Year’ award.

As a licensed Architect and Urban Designer, Josephine has an extensive portfolio ranging from regional city planning, mixed-use developments, residential communities to hospitality projects across Asia.

Josephine was Vice-President and Director of Design at HOK International Ltd., and during that time the team won ‘Best Urban Design Firm of the Year 2007’, ‘AIA Sustainable Urban Design Award 2007’ and many other awards. Prior to joining GOCO Hospitality, Josephine was Head of Design at IMC Octave, project managing and designing a 70-key destination wellness retreat development in Suzhou, China. Josephine met Ingo collaborating at the Landmark Mandarin Oriental Hotel, a multiple award-winning project in Hong Kong.

BA (Hons) Sport Science and Information Technology Canterbury Christ Church University FSMT Dip As Group Director – Operations, Clive applies his considerable operational experience to every aspect of project development, from market research to conceptualisation and preopening services, ensuring feasibility and operational viability throughout. In addition, he oversees the successful opening and management of all GOCO Hospitality-branded spas and retreats. Working for GOCO Hospitality in various roles since 2014, Clive first joined as General Manager of a GOCO wellness resort project in Beijing, China, before becoming the company’s Corporate General Manager. He then assumed the General Manager role at Glen Ivy Hot Springs, America’s oldest hot springs resort, for nearly four

years. Before joining GOCO Hospitality, Clive served for four years as Wellness Director and General Manager at Kamalaya Wellness Resort, a leading destination spa in Thailand. Clive led the resort in earning, amongst numerous other accolades, the highly esteemed 2014 title of “Destination Spa of the Year, Asia & Australasia” (World Spa Awards). Clive spent two years at the helm of The Spa at Mandarin Oriental Riviera Maya. Prior to this, Clive was the opening Spa Director at the Four Seasons Resort Provence at Terre Blanche and the opening Spa Director at Four Seasons Hotel Hampshire Spa. During his tenure, Condé Nast Traveler voted it “Best UK Hotel Spa”.

Through talented leadership, he directs the raising of capital and related structural work for future management contracts and investment projects. Fabricio also supervises the Horwath HTL Health and Wellness team in the conducting of market research and feasibility studies, bringing to the table his broad experience in the hospitality industry and in real estate investments.

Prior to joining GOCO Hospitality, Fabricio held positions at various leading hospitality and financial companies, raising and directing financial capital to achieve longterm strategic results. Fabricio was Director of Investments at Brazil Hospitality Group, the largest publicly traded hotel group in Brazil as well as Director of Development at Odebrecht Real Estate Development, Brazil’s largest conglomerate. Fabricio also worked in the United States for Citigroup, Ernst & Young and Westmont Hospitality Group. He holds degrees from Cornell University and the Les Roches Hotel Management School.
