In the realm of style, where I’ve spent my life creating and recreating, I can’t say I’ve met many whom I would label “the genuine article.” However, Thom and Mikey are such a pair.
These two men, God love them, are as relentless as they are charming. Of course, they’re masters of their craft. Thom’s eye for beauty and Mikey’s talent for sewing together a production are top-shelf. But it’s their passion and infectious enthusiasm that make them so wonderful to work with. Debating the merits of Johnnie Walker Blue versus Black over glasses full is as wonderful as the work they produce. Simply put, they hold themselves to a higher standard, a refreshing trait in this digital age of shortcuts.
I call them my boys, and Mikey often acts the part, yet their work reflects a grand maturity and professionalism.
The old breed hasn’t died out after all.
(And just for the record, dear hearts: Walker Black. End of story.)
