Good Neighbors Vietnam
Good Neighbors International (GNI) is an international humanitarian development non-governmental organization founded in Korea in 1991 and currently working in 49 countries, with our primary focus on Community Development and Child Protection. In 2007, Good Neighbors was awarded the Millennium Development Goals (MDG) Award by the International Association of Economic and Social Councils and Similar Institutions (AICESIS) in recognition of valuable efforts in providing universal primary education over the world. We also work in cooperation with our partners including the UN World Food Program (UN WFP), the UN Refugee Agency (UNHCR), the UN Development Program (UNDP), the UN Capital Development Fund (UNCDF), and other aid agencies. In Vietnam, GNI has officially operated since 2005 and implemented Community Development projects in 06 provinces/cities, namely Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Hoa Binh, Tuyen Quang, Thanh Hoa, and Ha Giang, sponsoring more than 17,400 children and supporting more than 200,000 beneficiaries through our projects. In addition, GNI has also provided disaster relief and supplies, providing aid and necessities to 26 provinces and cities in Vietnam.
