With about 15 GlobeMedders in attendance, we split into groups and read aloud Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie’s TED Talk titled, The Danger of a Single Story. We gained an understanding how generalized and oversimplified descriptions of entire communities is detrimental and needs to be changed.
Together we covered the Who, What, Where, When, Why, & How of our partner. Members rotated through different stations to discuss the purpose and history of our partner as well as historical information about Peru.
