Global Launch English Programs

Since 1974, Global Launch has provided learners with rich in-person, online and blended programs to foster language learning from anywhere in the world. All Global Launch educators have at least a master’s degree and have taught English throughout the globe, providing Global Launch students with the unique care and attention they need to succeed.

Campus Immersion Immerse yourself in English language learning at Arizona State University in Tempe, Arizona. The intensive program helps learners improve or achieve fluency, gain proof of English proficiency for ASU admission, and develop skills for academic success. Advanced level electives help prepare students for vocabulary and structures in specific academic areas, such as science, engineering and business.

With 50 years of experience, Global Launch delivers customized English language training solutions to businesses, government institutions, and others to achieve their specific language goals.

ASU-USA Pathways Designed for international students who need to boost their academic qualifications and English proficiency, ASU-USA Pathways offers a path to Arizona State University. Qualifying students improve their readiness for university-level work, gain admission to ASU and earn up to 26 credits toward an undergraduate degree, whether at ASU or another U.S. institution.

Bringing access to education worldwide Global Launch teaches the English and academic skills necessary to achieve success at the university level. In fact, students who study English at Global Launch earn a higher GPA than other first-time ASU international students. Students can begin their studies at Global Launch before applying to ASU, can attend Global Launch after receiving conditional admission to ASU, or can earn admission to ASU through the Pathways program.

Meet ASU’s English proficiency requirement with Global Launch’s online English for Admission and Achievement program. Designed for undergraduate and graduate degree seekers, this course helps improve university-level English skills through lectures and interactive discussions. An 80% or higher score fulfills ASU’s English proficiency requirement.

Comprehensive Student Support and Engagement No matter whether students choose to learn English online or from home, Global Launch provides learners with a dedicated, full-time Student Support and Academic Services staff who are ready to answer your questions, give guidance and help students in classes.

Welcome Desk Multilingual student support is available 8 a.m. – 5 p.m., Monday to Friday on campus and via Zoom. Global Launch students receive comprehensive support throughout their ASU journey.

Tutoring Services Global Launch offers private one-on-one tutoring by our educators and MTESOL students, providing personalized support to enhance English language learning.

Academic Advising and Policies Meet with advisors for program entry, level changes or transitioning to ASU. Advisors ensure students follow important policies for grades and attendance to support their success.

Student Portal My GL, the Global Launch online portal, provides access to class schedules, event registration, grades and other essential resources for students.

Connect Activities Global Launch offers over 250 activities annually, from conversation clubs to ASU events, helping students practice English, build friendships and explore Arizona on campus or online.

Meet our Global Educators Global Launch has 40 Global Educators who have lived or taught in more than 45 countries and speak 35 languages. All hold at least a master’s degree in TESOL and have diverse expertise, including business, marketing, philosophy, psychology, and engineering.
