At G2E, visitors will see the next generation of fun from Konami. New Cabinets The booth will feature recently released successes like the Podium Goliath, which already is performing at casinos that typically have been deploying it in pods of three, end banks or as stand-alone units. G2E guests also will preview for the first time the newest edition to the Podium family, Podium Monument—a standard Podium base enhanced with an oversized top box for greater attraction and entertainment. The cabinet leverages exclusive top-box themes like Snow Stars, and also is available with the full library of KP3 titles paired with an all-new four-level progressive, Quick Strike Quad. With the Rapid Revolver, Konami breaks with convention and presents two distinct gaming concepts fused into this single cabinet. The Rapid Revolver cabinet combines a video reel experience with six vertically mounted spinning reels in an oversized top box, surrounded by synchronized, high-impact sound and lighting. Dynamic 5 Upright offers a new upright cabinet, combining the best attributes of mechanical reels and video interaction. Bright lights and integrated sound immerse the player for a unique and entertaining experience.
New Progressives The next generation of Konami linked progressive games is Genie’s Power, which features a multi-stage bonus event with independent jackpot levels. Konami also will launch Gigantic Wheel of Winning, a progressive exclusively on the Podium Goliath cabinet. This mystery stand-alone progressive is designed to attract casino guests with its oversized spinning wheel graphics and double-up bonus feature. Quick Strike Quad is a four-level version of Konami’s proven standalone progressive, Quick Strike. Launching exclusively on the Podium Monument, players now will have four levels of “must hit” mystery rewards. New Themes Konami has recently released several new math games including Solstice Celebration, Dragon’s Law, Seven & Flames Hot Boost and Sovereign Lion. Some notable new themes with new game mechanics are Love
Stacks, Warrior’s Gate and Spellbound Princess; each harnesses the new Ultra Reels game mechanic. Operators also will be able to preview Norbert the Dragon in two new Passport to Riches themes, Gold of Olympus and Opulent India. T h e S yn kr o s S y s t e m The new Synkros gaming enterprise management system has been gaining traction since it was unveiled at last year’s G2E. The award-winning Synkros delivers marketing horsepower on the most stable and reliable platform in the industry. Installations of Synkros are taking place each month as operators have commented how the system—which is the evolution of the Konami Casino Management System—can provide improved business results. True-Time Tournaments recently was recognized as one of the year’s most innovative systems products based on its ability to offer player-on-demand tournaments via a proprietary True-Time Windowing technology. Response from operators who have experienced True-Time Tournaments has been universally positive; they comment on the power of a system-delivered bonusing tournament that can be played on demand by players who visit the property, earn a pre-established number of points, sign up for a new card or celebrate a birthday.
