PSLE Examination Pattern : PSLE Science examination includes a written exam with two booklets, booklet A and booklet B. Booklet A is a multiple-choice questions-based paper in which 28 questions are asked, equal to 56 marks. Each question bears identical marks, and there is a negative marking for attempting the wrong choice. One hour and 15 minutes are given for this paper.

Booklet B consists of two sections in which section 1 has 6-7 structured questions such as Fill in the blanks and Match the following type. Section 2 has 5-6 open-ended questions, which carry 24 marks. To pass the exam, candidates must pass both the booklet papers.

The problem faced by the students in which PSLE science examination:

Booklet A is easier to pass paper than booklet B as it consists of multiple-choice questions. But to attempt the whole booklet, one has a brief knowledge of science taught during primary schooling. Booklet A has basic to High-level questions as the questions made by various science experts. So constant revision and reading concepts are must-do things before appearing for the PSLE Science examination. Booklet B consists of the most moderate-level questions, which are pretty difficult from booklet A. This booklet demand core knowledge of science. Only reading without application doesn't sound great to crack this booklet.

How to attempt the PSLE science examination effectively: Most of the students waste most of their time on booklet A which costs them to reduce their time for booklet B. As more scientific and application-based questions are asked in booklet B, one must give time. Booklet A consists only of MCQ, so it is advisable to give 45 to 50 minutes to this booklet, and booklet B, which does not ask straightforward questions, demands the rest of the time. Moving the clock is one of the biggest problems constantly working the candidates in the exam. Due to this, most of the students attempt questions too quickly, which cost them to reduce their overall results. So one has to be very careful while attempting questions.
