Zermatt, also, has developed and changed. In Victor’s view, the overall quality of the resort has increased with new, better and faster lifts, while its core characteristics are preserved. He has one suggestion that he believes would contribute to its status as a world-class resort. Given the chance of having one wish granted, in an already perfect place, I think a high performance sports center would provide the opportunity for an even greater future for the beautiful town of Zermatt. Spectacular mountain views are certainly a key to making beautiful pictures, but it’s the interaction between the rider and the photographer that is crucial. In snow sports photography, the models make all the hard work. I have a lot of people to thank over the years. Remo Schneider for the days scouting for the best photo locations and for all the fun powder days we spent together; Samuel Anthamatten for his natural talent and his brother Martin Anthamatten; Victoria Kreuzer, Glenn Parsons, Dario Faronato, Sam Allen – they are the real heroes.
