Global Brigade’s The Empowered 100 campaign will empower 100 rural communities in Central America and Africa with over 65,000 persons to permanently rise out of poverty through an approach anchored to United Nations Sustainable Development Goals #3, Good Health and Well-Being; #6, Clean Water and Sanitation; and #8, Decent Work and Economic Growth. This approach emphasizes the 3 core components embedded in the Holistic Model: Healthcare, WASH, and Economic Development. Through The Empowered 100, Global Brigades aims to sustainably scale the Holistic Model and create a blueprint to replicate the ability to end rural poverty.

*Goals 1 and 6 have had substantial change in the last year. For Goal 1, all three Central American countries have created program pilots which are currently under evaluation.
