JOSÉ LUIS RAMÍREZ | MEXICO www.joseluisrmz.com

I was born on July 31, 1981 in Durango city, Durango state, Mexico. I graduated from the School of Painting, Sculpture and Crafts of the Juárez University in Durango state (EPEA-UJED). I have participated in artistic projects of the National Fund for Culture and the Arts (FONCA) and made four murals in my hometown. Likewise, my art has been exhibited and published in various countries. My work has a lot of symbolism and appears as codes that are small tributes to instant memory; just as there is a lot of urbanity and this I classify it as poetically hostile.

I have been passionate about creating art and fascinated by nature. My artwork stems from my passion of photographing nature, by letting things drift naturally, fuelled by my perception of it. The truth is, spending time in nature provided me with a key inspirational spark. Since I was a kid, I have adventured through nature and I have always expressed myself that nature brings through visual effects and tactility.

TERESA WELLS MRSS SCULPTOR | UNITED KINGDOM www.teresawells.co.uk

Teresa Wells MRSS creates emotive figurative bronze sculptures that celebrate man’s physical and emotional survival over adversity. Inspired by the question “How do Humans Behave?” she draws inspiration from the contours of athletes and dancers emphasising strength, placing them in precarious positions to signify fragility. Combined with geometric shapes in steel, she shows a contemporary approach to bronze, lifting it off the plinth and making it appear less monumental. Teresa is a multi award-winning member of The Royal Society of Sculptors, with work in permanent collections in the USA, and has had work commissioned by the BBC and Netflix.

ALICIA BESADA | ARGENTINA www.aliciabesada.com

My work is born from the need to discover and unravel the mysteries of femininity, desire and the body. At the beginning of my path as a painter, I emphasized that the figures I painted felt like women of flesh and blood. Recently I focused on the border, making it permeable, traversed, undone, in a tension between what is contained and what is let go. Flowing, the figure empties into the space, deep, aquatic and luminous. In my paintings the resistance to being filled with the void that has presence coexist, and they need each other.

ARO - ALAIN ROUSSEAU | FRANCE www.paint-arousseau.com

French artist living previously in China, I had the chance to be at the crossroads of two radically different pictorial worlds, China ink and water and the West of the oil. I paint by synthesizing those cultures on the living beings to experience feelings and emotions. I focus on the psychology of the subject in bright colors; my style the “chromobscur” uses a dark and non-figurative background, inspired by Spanish and Flemish painters of the 16th. The subject is composed of dazzling colors, even violent, with energetic brush strokes recalling the ways of Impressionism and Cubism to shake up conventions.

The very detailed miniature paintings of eastern art which has been an art of storytelling requested a meticulous work of long hours and dedication. Enchanted with beautiful Eastern miniatures ,old Masters paintings of Europe have always been inspirational for me like my city of IstanbuI which is a bridge between Asia and Europe.

ATOM’S ART | UNITED STATES https://artbyatom.com

“Through Division to Expression” Influenced by post impressionism with cubist approach to composition. The goal here is to utilize the whole surface of the support challenging the viewer’s perception of negative space. Essentially divisionist, the figure/composition is woven in to the fabric of the plane and space warps in to the figure. In the painting process repetitive almost automatic application of the crosshatched lines allows the subconscious the opportunity to direct the composition, there is a tension between the desire to hide vs. the need to reveal, conflict between subconscious and self-conscious.

I have painted ever since I can remember. But painting is also a form of expression and that requires an interlocutor. I would like my creations to provoke an emotion in the viewer. I paint my models with curiosity, passion, and compassion. Through the process of creation, I get to know them intimately, even if they are an invention: a child of my spirit, my imaginary family. I hope that some of this insight reaches the viewer. Of course, what lies beneath the surface of reality is a mystery. Still, in painting the lives of others are also ours.

GEORGIA MICHAELIDES SAAD/CYPRUS georgiamichaelidesaad.com

My primary theme is the exploration of natural forms and, in my more recent work, of flowers in particular. Flowers to me are representative of the microcosm in relation to the macrocosm, the finite as expressive of the infinite. My main aim in painting the flowers, in great detail and enlarging them, is to transmit the feeling of awe and mystery which I experience before even the minutest forms of nature.
