What is the Priority Processing system for skills assessment for migration?
The 10 business days will start after: VETASSESS has confirmed that the application fulfills the eligibility criteria for Priority Processing. Free payment which included the appropriate GST (if applicable) is taken.
A returning applicant having a previous full skills assessment is not eligible for applying for a Priority Processing application under the same occupation which has been previously evaluated.
The Priority Processing service offers the applicant or agent the option to fast-track the evaluation of their application, for an extra fee. Those applicants who are confirmed as eligible for Priority Processing are evaluated in 10 business days after which an evaluation outcome letter is available to download within a period of 48 hours.
Applications for Priority Processing have to be registered online and fetch $600 (excluding GST). Priority Processing is not for paperbased applications.
An applicant who is confirmed as eligible will be evaluated within 10 business days. For the applicant who doesn’t fulfill the Eligibility Criteria or eligible applications that can’t be evaluated within the nominated time limit, the Priority Processing feel will be returned.

Your application will process through the standard process for a Full Skills Assessment. The approximate period of time for a Full Skills Assessment is 9 to 10 weeks when the application is received with all documents and information necessary for the assessment.
