Institution of Chartered Surveyors) has the right to cancel or refuse interviews at any time if it comes to knowing the major assessment/submission criteria have not been fulfilled. It includes case study validity, word count, ethics module and test, fees, plagiarism, CPD, qualification and experience eligibility, and other criteria in the RICS Itregulations.wouldmean your assessment may be deferred to the next available assessment session.
You need to have completed the RICS Ethics Module in the last 12 months at the point of application. You don’t need to provide proof of completing the RICS Ethics Module. It will be checked when you apply for assessment. If this need not been fulfilled, your assessment will be delayed.

Check that you use the correct pathway guide and that it is specified as either Pre or Post-August 2018. Confirm your membership number and counselor’s name.
Utilize the related pathway guide to set out the technical competencies and needed level that you are to be assessed against.

Summary of Experience – Mandatory competencies Don’t cross the limit of the maximum word count of 1500 words.
Give the professional body membership, grade and date of qualification for all relevant and active professional bodies.
Your photograph must be with your head and shoulders and a recent one (within 6 months)
You have identified the technical competencies within your pathway within your selected pathway. You have read and adhered to the confidentiality statement.CPD
Summary of Experience – Technical competencies Don’t cross the limit of the maximum word count of 4000 words.
Case Study
At the point of submission, this is based on a project you have worked on in the last 30 months.
If you are an APC Structured training candidate - you have given a minimum of 48 hours of CPD for each year of structured training.
At least 50% of your CPD is formal CPD.
You have checked the competencies and are submitting statements that meet the technical requirements at the correct levels for your chosen pathway. Each competency has a statement for each level needed.

The word limit is a maximum of 3000 words
If you are an APC Prelim candidate - you have at least 48 hours of CPD in the last 12 months.
