Seddon Park Ground Staff

A massive thank you to the Seddon Park Ground Staff for allowing Hamilton to have one of the best cricket grounds in New Zealand. It looks amazing at the moment and the cricket enthusiasts of Hamilton and Northern Districts should be proud to have such an iconic and picturesque ground in our own backyard.

Karl Johnson and his staff have been working around the clock this ‘summer’ to try and get as much cricket played at Seddon Park as possible. The weather conditions haven’t made it easy for them, it must be so frustrating to know that the weather will be such a challenge when planning for fixtures.

There’s been International and First Class cricket played at Seddon Park this season, but it’s the fact that so many community groups have been able to host events there –it is a genuine credit to the Hamilton City Council, Seddon Park and Northern Districts Cricket Association.
