Alumni Weekend Cricket Match at Seddon Park

It was wonderful to host so many fantastic past players who have proudly represented Northern Districts over so many memorable years. One of the main purposes of Seddon Cricket Club is to create a platform for past players to rekindle old friendships and stay connected through events and matches that the club organises. The weekend was a resounding SUCCESS!

The Alumni match between the Northern Districts Past Players XI and the New Zealand Cricket Players Association XI (that was filled with ND Past Players and led by Anton Devcich), was a genuine classic that ended in a TIE! (not staged). Some famous names took centre stage once again and they proved they have lost none of their talent, or competitiveness!

Thank you to the family, friends and supporters of the players that turned up – you created a great vibe and atmosphere.

Thank you!

Alumni Weekend Golf and Rugby

On the Saturday, Northern Districts past players played golf at Tieke Golf Course before socialising at Novotel. From Novotel they all took a bus ride to FMG Stadium, Waikato and were hosted in the Kotiate Corporate Lounge.

Many stories from their cricket days got better and better as the night progressed ...

Thank you!

Dennis Katsanos from NZCPA for capturing the night with these magnificent photos.
