1940s Chesterfield Market & Bakewell
Canal cruise with fish & Chips
Here’s a chance to rummage through the stalls of one of the biggest flea markets in the country. Who knows, you might even find a hidden treasure or a priceless antique. Enjoy 40s music, entertainment and exhibits and meet the stall holders in fancy dress. We also visit Bakewell.
With a morning departure we head to Barton Grange marina where we join our boat for a two hour cruise along the Lancaster canal. Our cruiser will make a short stop en route to collect a delicious fish and chip lunch. Following our chippy cruise we enjoy some free time at the Barton Grange Garden Centre.

Join us on an excursion to the lovely seaside resort of Llandudno. The town comes alive with a Dickensian atmosphere when the largest Christmas Market in Wales is held on Madoc Street.

Christmas Fayre Lunch with a difference
Chester Christmas Market
A morning departure to Chester, where there’s a little free time before heading to the Mill Hotel, where moored outside is the restaurant cruiser. Once onboard a delicious three-course Christmas lunch is served. Dine in comfort as we travel through locks and tunnels along the Shropshire Union Canal.
The traditional European Christmas market takes place in Chester. Soak up the atmosphere with the tempting aroma of mulled wine and roasting chestnuts or why not head into the Cathedral, where the beautiful Christmas trees are decorated by local schools and businesses.

Chatsworth House at Christmas Time
Durham Cathedral Choristers at Christmas
Visit stunning Chatsworth House decorated with specially made decorations. This year the theme is The Nutcracker. Many rooms will be enhanced with real candles, Christmas trees and spectacular foliage. We return home via the Chatsworth Farm Shop for a chance to stock up on local produce.
Enjoy a special exclusive afternoon carol concert and experience a candlelit procession of Choristers singing traditional carols in the magnificent Nave of Durham Cathedral. Explore the cathedral and visit the local producer’s market held in the historic cloister, there’s also time beforehand to explore the Christmas market.
