September 8, 2015 Principal’s Message
The first day of school is filled with emotions sometimes experienced differently by parents and kids. Tears of joy mixed with tears of missing mom or dad sometimes are hard to distinguish. Regardless of how your first day went, we are excited that you have rejoined us for another school year here at the little school with a big heart; MCS.
Millarville Community School 130 Millarville Road 403-938-7832 http://millarville.fsd38.ab.ca
Starting day one, our primary concern is to instill a sense of safety, security, love and respect for each of our students. Part of this commitment is to inform our families of our procedures and policies that help to make MCS a great place to grow and learn. Please take a few minutes and familiarize yourself with the updated parent handbook on our webpage as well as tap into your preferred social media (Twitter or Facebook) avenue to connect with our school for frequent updates. Thank-you for choosing MCS and I look forward to seeing many of you at our meet the teacher and parent council tonight at 6:00 pm. Sincerely, Glenn Gibson (gibsong@fsd38.ab.ca)
