Construct beautiful mosaic tapestries for interior display. Perfect for the person who loves quilting, patterning, bling and glitz! Included in the supply fee is a generous selection of glitzy glass, ceramic and glass tiles, ball chain, costume jewelry, beads and more as well as a properly prepared substrate and tool loan. Our adhesive is pre-colored thinset mortar and we embed our tesserae into the “setting bed.” Supply Fee $85 payable to instructor. No experience necessary. More info: maverickmosaics.com. Get Your Bling on! Combine collage with mosaic techniques using tempered glass as a sparkling overlay. Also known as crash glass, tempered glass gives a jewel-life surface. We will complete at least two mosaic pieces beginning with the creation of collage using special Mulberry papers, foils, stamps, metallic papers, glitter, milar and more. Come to a fun paper art workshop where we’ll let the trees & autumn colors inspire our works of art. Using hundreds of kinds of paper, you’ll create a textured and unique piece of art as you rip, cut, and glue layers of paper to an 8” x 10” stretched canvas. Supplies provided, and supply fee of $25 to be paid to the instructor at the start of the workshop. This workshop is for both beginners and for those who have taken prior workshops.
