Venues at Glen Echo Park are available for rent for private events. The Park follows all conditions and regulations set forth by the State of Maryland and Montgomery County for gatherings. For individuals, businesses, or groups seeking a unique, historic, and inspiring venue, Glen Echo Park will make your special event a truly memorable one for you and your guests.

Spanish Ballroom

The beautifully restored 1933 Mediterranean style Art Deco building, listed on the National Register of Historic Places, is a formal and glamorous venue for large corporate gatherings, private dance parties, wedding receptions, bar/ bat mitzvahs, and other events. Rentals are available all year, but as the Ballroom is neither heated nor air- conditioned, peak rental times are from April through June and September through October.

Bumper Car Pavilion

The Bumper Car Pavilion was built in 1923 as a cornerstone attraction of Glen Echo Park during the amusement park era. With great views of the Park, this versatile facility is a unique setting for wedding receptions, private dances, bar/ bat mitzvahs, fundraisers, and corporate events. Rentals are available all year, but as the Pavilion is neither heated nor air-conditioned, peak rental times are from April through June and September through October.

Ballroom Back Room

An addition to the historic Spanish Ballroom, this space is climate-controlled and boasts maple wood floors. The Back Room is an ideal space for events such as anniversary parties, family reunions, rehearsal dinners, business meetings, and other private events.

North Arcade Building

This rebuilt Art Deco building offers a great and convenient setting for children’s birthday parties, small gatherings, corporate meetings, and retreats.

Catering

Our approved caterers cover a wide range of styles, cuisines, and offerings. Their expert and professional staff will work with you to curate the perfect menu, drink selection, and service plan for your unique event. Catering for events at the Park is offered by Catering by Seasons, The Chef ’s Table, Corcoran Caterers, Delicious Gourmet, Equinox Restaurant, High Point Catering, Main Event Caterers, Occasions, Ridgewells Catering, Rouge Fine Caterers, Signature Caterers, Simply Fresh, and Windows Catering.

52nd Annual Labor Day Art Show

Opening Reception, Friday evening, September 1, 7:30pm to 9pm

Saturday, September 2 through Monday, September 4, 12pm to 6pm

This free event takes place in the Park’s historic Spanish Ballroom. The show features the work of more than 250 artists from the mid-Atlantic region. Many of the artists have a connection to Glen Echo Park, either as students or teachers. The exhibition includes a wide range of media such as sculpture, paintings, photographs, works on paper, ceramics, glass, jewelry, and furniture.
