Animal Art and Poetry Workshop (Ages 6-8) $50

Explore the wax resist method to design a mini-artwork of a favorite animal. This art technique lets you add details to your animal, making it come alive! Afterwards, we will learn how to write a descriptive poem about your animal based on your artwork. For children both new to poetry, and experienced writers. Winter Stories (Ages 6-9)

Be an artist and a writer in this fun class! Study various illustrators and learn how they create their artwork. Learn different watercolor techniques to create vibrant illustrations that tell a story. Then use your illustrations to write your own winter story book! $10 supply fee payable to instructor. Art and Artful Writing Workshop (Ages 7-9) $50

For 2nd through 4th graders. Use pictures and words to create poetic artworks. In this fun workshop, we will read some Concrete poems and then design one of our own! Mini-Artworks and Small Poems

First, see how poets create small poems, and view illustrations that build on the ideas of the poems, then use the crayon resist method to create your own mini-artworks and small poems. Creating Winter Scenes Workshop
