NEW TIMEKEEPING SYSTEM COMING, OFFERING HELPFUL WAYS TO LOG HOURS

A change is coming in the way COG employees log their work hours, request time off and complete other timekeeping tasks. The city will be switching to the new timekeeping system, UKG, on Aug. 24.

UKG will be convenient, allowing for you to log in from anywhere, without the need for VPN! Use your tablet, cell phone or computer to manage your timesheet, approvals and other information.

Another bonus is that most employee timecards will be schedule driven, meaning you will no longer have to manually input time daily and will only need to enter changes from your normal schedule. Watch for more details in the coming weeks!

As a reminder, you will see some changes in your paychecks this month Your first paycheck will reflect your new benefit deductions and your second paycheck for this month will contain those new deductions AND a full-day period of pay increases that you are qualified to receive. That’s after the City Council approved a budget for this new fiscal year that includes PAY INCREASES through cost-of-living adjustments, merit increases and market changes for certain classifications.
