The Scientific Method Class Activity

1. Form groups of 5 students.

2. Each group member should contribute with a  question that they would like to know or research  about anything in Nature. 3. The group must select the best question to work  on. 4. Formulate a group hypothesis. 5. Design an experiment that can be used to test  your hypothesis. 6. "Test" your experiment. "Analyze" the results  obtained, and draw conclusions. The best activity will be selected to do it in the lab. 15


Teacher's Notes This class has been designed to cover the topics of History of Scientific  Discoveries in Science from Monday March 2nd till Friday March 6th. For further knowledge about this topic:  1. Conduct a thorough search under the topic: Scientific Discoveries on  the Web, books and magazines. 2. If findings are not specific, ask your teacher for suggestions.
