Holmegaard Palette Complete Reference Identifying parts in the series

Page 1

Palette was designed by Michael Bang for the Kastrup-Holmegaard Glassworks in 1969 and launched the same autumn. In early 1976 Palette withdrew again, because the series, among other things, were too expensive to produce and therefore became too costly. The production was solely on the Danish isle Funen at the Glassworks in Odense, where the glassworkers particularly mastered the technique of manufacturing cased glass. The series consists, apart from a Flowerpot-cover, exclusively of parts for kitchen and serving also to the cat and the dog's favorite foods. It is available in the opal colors: White, Umbra Brown, Ocean Blue, Orange, Jade Green, Black, Yellow, Caramel, White with a inlaid green wave and entirely transparent green. This booklet I’ve done is drawn from Datasheet, Advertising, Dealer Information, and Kastrup-Holmegaard's own Staff magazines from the time. In cases where there is no article numbers are the parts known from my own or other people's collections, but if you can contribute with information that can help to improve the list, I’ll gladly hear about it.
