Their website has easy to find PDF forms for you to fill in and email through. The team at Trilogy Tax can then do an initial tax return with this information supplied. They will call you for any queries or suggestions, make any necessary adjustments to your tax return, and when you are completely happy, they will lodge your return for you.

You even have the option to set up a Skype or Facetime meeting if you would like to speak ‘face to face’ but can’t make it to the office.

After hours or Saturday appointments are also available by arrangement.

Trilogy Tax has been part of the Sunshine Coast Hinterland since 1999, when Tanya Wilson first started her bookkeeping business. Over time, the practice has grown to become one of the largest accounting practices in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland.

In 2014, the name was changed to Trilogy Tax to better reflect their mission to provide clients with accurate, ethical and strategic advice and services.

The beautiful old church building, opposite Maleny Primary School has also had a revamp to better reflect what Trilogy Tax is all about ... making tax time a calmer, more relaxed time for their clients.

Bob Jarvis has owned Trilogy Tax for the past 12 months and brings with him over 25 years experience; 17 in corporate and five teaching. Now he wants to use those skills to help ‘Mum and Dad’ wage earners and small to medium businesses thrive without the added tax stress.

“People like us because we explain things to them in their language,” says Bob. “We are trying to de-stress tax and make tax easy for you. We like to tell our clients, ‘Don’t you stress about it ... let us do that for you’.”

Original owner, Tanya Wilson is well known to locals and has been involved with the bookkeeping and accounting industry for over 27 years. She started her own business in 1999 called ‘Complete Business Books and Records’ in the township of Maleny and the business has grown to what it is today, in part due to her commitment to her clients and glowing referrals from these clients.
