The couple previously lived on Bribie Island for 23 years before selling their home to travel Australia. Raye explained, “It’s a nice little community, it’s not a very busy area and that’s what I like after living on Bribie. Bribie became very busy and very touristy.” When they returned home from their most recent adventure, they decided it was time to settle into a place of their own, closer to their family. Raye explains that one of the best things about living at Landsborough Pines is how accessible the location is. “We have everything here. Medical clinics, dentists, bakeries, news agencies, coffee places, it’s all only a few hundred metres away. The rail station is close by and it’s easy to get to the highway if we want to go up or down the coast.”
