DLY

Contributed by Pauline Fraley All the games were hard fought but Eumundi Miss Gems finished stronger on the day ahead of Witta Wagtails. Thanks to Gerry Gabriel, Jan Maguire, Cynthia Garvie and Sonia Douglas. Whistlers played at Witta against Caloundra Hot Chillies. It was a bit windy but was a beautiful day. As usual we had long games but we all enjoyed the strong hitting. And it was a good win. Score was 44-20 games, 6-2 sets. Team was Paula Cudmore, Brenda Warner, Aki Lepper and Annie Quarmby. The Wildcats travelled to Maroochydore to compete against the Mavericks. It was a beautiful day for tennis and Pauline Fraley, Stacey English, Jenie Riding and Sonia Douglas enjoyed a good win. Final score was 7-1 sets, 44-24 games. Social tennis is on Monday 8am and Saturday 1pm. All welcome. Court bookings on 0437 295 501 or www.wittatennis.com.au.
