Happy 50th Anniversary to Bee Gee’s Football Club The Annual General Meeting of the Maleny Community Centre Inc. (MCC) will be held on Friday 31st August 2018 at 10am in the Main Hall of the Maleny Community Centre Complex. Nominations are called for from members of the MCC for positions on the Committee. Nomination forms are available from the Secretary secretary@malenycc.org or from the MCC Office, 1 Bicentenary Lane between the hours of 9.30am to 1.30pm Monday to Friday. All nominations must be lodged with the Secretary by 5pm on 13th August 2018. Members are asked to renew their membership and new members are encouraged to join at least 2 weeks before the AGM. Casual Vacancy Proof Reader We are looking for a local with an exceptional eye for detail to join our team and be our ‘fresh eyes’ to check all editorial stories and pages before they go to print. Ideally we would like someone with previous print media writing / sub-editing experience whose other commitments have the flexibility to fit within our production schedule. Currently the position is a casual role of between 9-12 hours per week, depending on the size of the week’s edition.
