As part of the fixed radio (wireless) component of the Network, nbn is proposing to expand the existing radio network base station at the following site to provide high quality wireless broadband services to customers in the surrounding locality. 1. 20 Eagles Nest Court, Bald Knob QLD 4552 (Lot 2 on RP211785) (NBN Ref: Wilkes Knob) The proposed works on site will involve the upgrade of existing technology upon the facility including and not limited to the installation of new antennas, radiocommunications dishes and associated ancillary equipment to enhance transmitting technology. Furthermore, the works will involve the addition of equipment cabinets adjacent to the base of the facility. nbn regards the proposed installations as a Low Impact Facility under the Telecommunications (Low-Impact Facilities) Determination 2018. In the circumstances, it does not require planning approval from Sunshine Coast Regional Council.
