Student Support Payments

The Central Information Point

Nearly all student support payments for UK students are paid directly into students’ bank accounts approximately five working days after the university has confirmed their attendance. Payment is normally paid directly into the student’s bank account in three instalments - one at the beginning of each term.

**Completion of Treforest Accommodation, September 2011 The last of the new Mountain Halls accommodation blocks (Caerphilly Hall) is estimated to be three weeks late for completion, following delays caused by the harsh winter. Occupation will be available from the weekend of 8th October. All students due to take up accommodation in Caerphilly Hall are local and have been informed of the delay; they are expected to commute to University for the first three weeks. Contingency arrangements are in place to compensate travelling expenses incurred during this period to the value of £150. If any students arrive expecting to check into accommodation in Caerphilly Hall, please contact Accommodation Managers, Nick Hennessy or Claire Matsell on 01443 482845.

**Completion of Treforest Accommodation, September 2011 The last of the new Mountain Halls accommodation blocks (Caerphilly Hall) is estimated to be three weeks late for completion, following delays caused by the harsh winter. Occupation will be available from the weekend of 8th October. All students due to take up accommodation in Caerphilly Hall are local and have been informed of the delay; they are expected to commute to University for the first three weeks. Contingency arrangements are in place to compensate travelling expenses incurred during this period to the value of £150. If any students arrive expecting to check into accommodation in Caerphilly Hall, please contact Accommodation Managers, Nick Hennessy or Claire Matsell on 01443 482845.

Nearly all student support payments for UK students are paid directly into students’ bank accounts approximately five working days after the university has confirmed their attendance. Payment is normally paid directly into the student’s bank account in three instalments - one at the beginning of each term.
