WEIGHT CONTROLLER GAUGE SENSOR
The GS-1000 linear gauge sensor was designed to measure dimensions, thickness, curvature, eccentricity, displacement, height, depth, flatness, variation, runout, roundness, distortion and deflection. It is also used for load and pressure inspection applications. Incorporating the linear glass scale principle, the GS-1000 performs highly accurate measurements to 0.0005” throughout its full 4.0 inch measuring range along with a fast response speed of 39.4’/second. The carbon graphite spindle permits heavy lateral loading or side impact force. Ono Sokki Technology Inc.
The HI 4050 weight controller is now available factory installed in a stainless steel (NEMA 4x) enclosure and can be configured as a blind unit or with a keyboard and display. A load cell summing board or intrinsic barrier assembly can be added to eliminate the need for a system junction box or for use in hazardous class I, II, DIV II applications. The controller comes standard with EtherNet and optional EtherNet/IP, DeviceNet, AllenBradley Remote I/O, Profibus or Modbus TCP/IP networks. It includes WAVERSAVER® to eliminate the effects of surrounding vibration for fast, stable weight display, C2® electronic calibration without test weights. Hardy Instruments
STEERING MEASUREMENT
This new sensor system allows vehicle manufacturers to accurately measure the effects of drift pull caused by steering wheel and tire alignment errors. Operators can quickly measure and record drift-pull torque and angle and determine whether the vehicle has been properly aligned after production. The system features an integrated torque and angle measurement and a quick clamp attachment to the vehicle’s steering wheel. Your laptop computer supplies the power and software interface through a USB cable. Sensor Developments Inc. CIRCLE NO. 55 ON READER REPLY CARD

LEVEL TRANSMITTER
The Model 675 submersible level transmitter is designed specifically for slurries and highly viscous environments where clogging of the sensor is possible. It uses a 3.5-inch flush diaphragm within a stainless steel shark cage to prevent unwanted clogging of the sensor area. The large diaphragm ensures continuous operation in tough, demanding and dirty applications. Applications include lift stations, sewage level measurement, slurries, storm runoffs and pump control. TOTALIZING METERS
The CoolPoint™ vortex shedding totalizing flowmeters are designed for measuring, monitoring, verifying and controlling water flows in manufacturing and processing applications. The flowmeters are electronic instruments that have no moving parts to stick or coat and can process water that may contain particles. The flow totalizer enables the user to control the total amount of water in a process. The totalizer features a six-digit LED, pulse output and push-button selection for gallons per minute or liters per minute. The user can toggle between two totals, one running and one resettable. HYGROMETER
The S8000 Integrale chilled mirror hygrometer is able to handle sample gas at pressures up to 250 psig. This results in a reduced response which can save users time in dry applications - such as compressed air and bottled gases - where low dew-points are reached. Pressurizing the sample speeds up the response time because the gas will have a higher dew point than the sample at atmospheric pressure. With the higher dew point under pressure, the S8000 is able to reach the temperature and stabilize much faster than with the lower atmospheric dew point. Mitchell Instruments Inc. PRESSURE TRANSMITTER
The P611 pressure transmitter features a single piece 316L stainless steel sensing element with a high output silicon glass fused strain gauge, coupled with a thick diaphragm. This combination maximizes cycle life even in the presence of pressure spikes, vibration, and aggressive fluid media. The robust sensor is welded to a 316 stainless steel body and includes no O-rings or seals. The stepped design of the pressure chamber minimizes any effect on the sensor caused by tightening during installation. The P611 meets the needs of a broad range of applications. The OLT liquid level switches are designed for optical point level detection. These sensors feature very high chemical resistance due to their TROGAMID® miniature plastic housing which makes them suitable for a wide range of industrial OEM and medical applications. The OLT series can be used with many liquids which are not compatible with conventional polysulphone housings such as fuel, halogenated hydrocarbons, methanol, acetone and ethyl acetate. The optical OLT switches use solid state technology with no moving parts to measure accurately and reliably the presence or absence of liquid in tanks, reservoirs and pipes. Sensortechnics, Inc.
