ORBITAL MARKET

ORBITAL MARKET

The proposal consists of the design of an intergalactic floating market. a space where the action unfolds among suspended platforms, mobile shelving, and gravitydefying structures. Inspired by the chaotic, colorful, and high-tech atmosphere of Guardians of the Galaxy, this market serves as a meeting point for species, cultures, and objects from the farthest reaches of the universe. In this visually overloaded and evershifting environment, a group of characters embarks on the search for a lost object essential to a secret mission, navigating a setting that seems to have a life of its own and hides more than it reveals.

ORBITAL MARKET

Modular & Expandable Structure designed using prefabricated units, allowing organic growth as commerce expands Architecture prioritizes low gravity logistics, docking systems, and sealed environmental capsules.

An intergalactic floating marketplace conceptualized as a scenographic space where architecture meets narrative. Suspended platforms, mobile shelving systems, and gravity-defying structures create a dynamic environment inspired by the chaotic, colorful, and high-tech aesthetic of Guardians of the Galaxy.

SILVA TOWER

PROJECT LOCATION AND SITE

Silva Tow roject, is set to tra d on Max Henríquez Ureña Street in Santo Domingo, D.R., near Winston Churchill Avenue and directly across from the VIVA telecommunications building. The rectangular lot, measuring 30.00 m x 30.00 m (900 m²), provides a canvas for innovation and opulence. Its strategic location ensures high visibility and accessibility, appealing to both residents and visitors. The design challenge lies in maximizing the 900 m² footprint while harmonizing with the urban context. Silva Tower aims to redefine modern living, offering panoramic views, lush greenery, and tailored amenities that promise an elevated lifestyle for discerning residents

SILVA TOWER

The word “Silva,” derived from Latin, evokes the richness and diversity of nature. Like a lush jungle, the biophilic architectural proposal draws inspiration from vitality and a deep connection to the natural environment.

“Silva” represents the synergy between human design and flora, creating spaces that nourish the soul and promote wellbeing.

A sustainable façade must combine durable materials, thermal insulation, and bioclimatic design strategies. For this reason, the project features a thermal insulation system integrated into the façade, consisting of concrete walls, thermal mass in concrete, insulation, an air cavity, and a terrazzo finish creating an efficient and sustainable solution for warm climates. To enhance its visual appeal, a play of depth and levels is introduced through staggered thermal mass panels.
