people Vintage & Luxury: A charity shop with a difference THERE IS now a charity shop with a difference on the N332 at the entrance to Altea, directly opposite the railway bridge. It offers first class, second hand luxury designer fashion at excellent prices. Designers such as Escada; Burburry; Versace; Valentino; Moschino and many more are all available and for a little money a fashion conscious customer can look like a star. And the profits from all sales go to a charity project for animals and children. ADVICE Professional advice and a complimentary glass of champagne are always on hand. In a very short space of time the word has spread amongst lovers of anything unusual that there is a new meeting place to find your latest outfit or just pop in for a drink and a chat. You can find the shop on the N332 C/La Mar 197 or call the shop on 606 323 446. All profits go to the school project SOS- Animalhelp. Already 2000 children in the Valencian province are participating in lessons that include training and

education in behaviour and most importantly how to care for pets, with the emphasis on dogs. The aim is to teach children from an early age how to behave correctly around dogs to avoid incidences. In most countries this programme carries a fee to participating schools but SOS Animalhelp offers the tuition free of charge in Spain to schools, kindergartens and summer schools.

PREVENTION Animal care starts with the children through prevention, education and information so we can stop all the shelters from bursting at the seams and prevent animal suffering. Research has shown that 62.4% of all biting incidences are caused by provocation, either intentionally or unintentionally, by children. Through this project children learn from an early age how to Second handle and behave with animals, giving them a basis hand for a long and happy life with pets. luxury Find more information on the programme on designer www.sos-animalhelp.com under ‘Kidsclub’. fashion
