Based at Loy Yang B Power Station, Victoria’s newest and most efficient coal-fired power station, you will work with an experienced and passionate team of people while completing a Certificate III in Supply Chain Operations (Warehousing). You will learn how to efficiently perform the warehouse functions and undertake inventory management duties associated with the operation of the power station. This will include accurate and timely receipting of incoming materials, quality inspections of inventory, and utilising the computerised maintenance management system. You will be trained to operate material handling equipment to unload, load and store material, stock and equipment. The successful applicant will: ● Work autonomously, keep others informed of progress, and seek assistance when necessary. ● Effectively communicate information orally or in writing and speak up on important matters. ● Be productive, punctual and reliable and have a proven track record of finishing tasks properly and on time. ● Deliver work of a high quality standard with minimal mistakes. ● Understand and comply with safety requirements at all times. ● Have a good working knowledge of computerised applications including the MS Office Suite.
