Hertford Heath Fairy Trail
Our woods and secret paths were quiet over the last few years until now...
Some little fairies have created their very own trail, a maze of doorways, hidden spaces and much more.

Are you ready to meet them? Follow the path and enjoy the wonderful stories using the QR codes!

Once upon a time, a young boy named Angus was on his way to school when he decided to take a shortcut through the Enchanted Forest. Along the way, Angus met many mystical creatures which taught him a variety of new acts of kindness.

In the Enchanted Forest, the first creature he met was a little fairy named Dandelion. She loved to collect dewdrops and use them to water the flowers. One day, while she was collecting dewdrops, she stumbled upon a small cottage hidden among the trees. Curious, she peeked inside and found a little fairy crying. Dandelion asked her what was wrong, and the fairy explained that she was lost in the forest. Dandelion used her magic to guide the fairy back to her home safely, and the two became best friends.

Angus then moved on to the heart of the Enchanted Forest and found a mischievous little fairy named Adonis. She loved to play tricks on the other woodland creatures, but one day, she went too far and accidentally turned a friendly fox into a statue. Horrified, Adonis ran away and hid in a hollow tree. However, when she returned to the spot where the fox had been, she found a note from the fox forgiving her and inviting her to tea. Overcome with gratitude, Adonis visited his burrow and vowed to never play pranks again but instead use her powers to help others.

Angus had now found the Enchanted Forest where the trees sparkled with fairy dust and the animals spoke in hushed whispers. A young girl named Trixie stumbled upon this forest one day whilst wondering arounds the woods. The fairies welcomed her with open arms, and she spent the rest of her days dancing with the sprites and talking to the animals.

Angus found a unicorn which wandered into the forest and became lost. The fairies saw the sad look in the unicorn's eyes and decided to help it find its way home. They used their magic to guide the unicorn back to its meadow. The unicorn was grateful and promised to protect the fairies from any harm that may come their way.

Deep in the heart of the fairy kingdom, a mischievous little fairy named Ash loved to play pranks on his fellow fairies. One day, he followed the fairy trail to a quiet meadow, where he planned to pull a particularly elaborate prank on his friend Fawn. As he crept up behind her, ready to scare her with a loud "Boo!", he suddenly found himself surrounded by a group of sternlooking fairies. They scolded him for his misbehaviour and warned him of the consequences of his actions. Ashamed, Ash apologised and promised never to play a prank on his friends again. From that day forward, he used his mischievous spirit to bring joy and laughter to his fellow fairies, rather than fear and confusion.

Now Angus was in a faraway land, the Fairy Queen, Iridessa cast a spell to protect her kingdom from evil. She asked her bravest and most loyal fairies to search for a powerful crystal to complete the spell. After many dangerous adventures, they found the crystal and brought it to the Iridessa. The spell was cast, and the kingdom was forever protected.

Deep in the forest, there lived a lonely gnome who yearned for a companion. One day, a kind-hearted fairy stumbled upon the gnome's home and offered to be his friend. Chunks was overjoyed and welcomed the fairy with open arms. From then on, they spent their days exploring the forest and having fun together.

The Notorious Biggies: The biggies in the forest loved to play pranks on the other creatures. One day, they decided to play a trick on the fairies by swapping their wings with leaves. The fairies were upset, but the biggies soon realised that their prank had gone too far. They apologised to the fairies and promised to never play such a mean joke again.

Angus now found a curious young fairy named Dingy Skipper who stumbled upon a sparkling trail of fairy dust. Intrigued, she followed it deep into the woods, where she discovered a magical clearing filled with whimsical creatures. Overwhelmed by the beauty of the scene before her, Dingy Skipper danced with joy, spreading her own fairy dust in celebration. From that day forward, the enchanted trail became a favourite haunt of Dingy Skipper, and she returned often to dance and play with her newfound friends.

Now as the sun started to set, Angus set out to find his way home. he followed the winding path of the fairy trail, feeling more and more uncertain with each step. Just when he was about to give up home, he encountered a kind hearted fairy named Iris, who offered to accompany her on his journey. together, they walked along the trail and as they did, Angus fear slowly disappeared. They then emerged from the forest with no more fear thanks to his new friend Iris.
