DHH SERIES The design inspiration comes from the childhood memory of Gina Hsu. Hsu was born and raised in a family which her grandfather and father were both medical practitioners. Unlike the ordinary family, home was a regional hospital but also a playground where she shuttled through it as a child. The mixing emotions of hospital and her happy childhood memory became an important element for her design inspiration.

Bird Feeder Rice and sparrows in nature have always had a sort of interdependent relationship, so the use of Jenju village community始s straw weaving techniques to produce this bird feeder seemed ever so natural. Yilan始s scenery from a house in the city is usually viewed from a balcony or rooftop. This means that between the busy city and one始s own house, small city sparrows may also have somewhere to go to become someone始s kind little neighbour.

Rich-harvest Stool Rice or grain products have advantages and disadvantages concerning its usage as a design material.

One of the advantages of rice straw, rice bran or rice itself could be its interesting, rich texture. However, the major disadvantage of these materials is they do not possess enough long-term durability. This is where the use of an epoxy resin comes in, improving the resilience and durability of the straw and rice materials, so that these materials may serve broader purposes and be transformed into items used in home on a daily basis.

Whether used in the fishing process, or in the boats return to the port, light represents something very important in sea life, as it acts as the only clue people may have in a sometimes pitch black environment. When used in their life at home, this also true. This piece sees the use of onboard items such lights used to attract fish and squid up to the surface of the water and anchors as well, put to use in a slightly different manner therefore extending its usage indefinitely, as well as ultimately becoming a wonderful accessory to any dark environment.
