Gilmore Mark IV Shuttle Valve

Establishing a new benchmark for reliability and serviceability in drilling control systems where redundant hydraulic pressure supplies are required.

The Mark IV Shuttle Valve design improves upon the Mark III, adding better performance and modularity. The increase in cycle life of the valve was proven through extreme qualification testing to meet the demand of 5 year service life under normal operating conditions. This valve is best specified for new build equipment and system upgrades where you want to have the most reliable and serviceable shuttle valve in the market.

Significant engineering enhancements

• Improved seat geometry to eliminate shuttle metal to metal coining (mating) requirement

• Fully serviceable shuttles and seats

• Pressure biased adapters have increased flow capacity and improved guidance

Gilmore Mark IV Shuttle Valve

Stack flow capacity is increased by approximately 50% in both shuttle positions

Subsea

Improved seat geometry eliminates coining and minimizes leakage

Symmetic body porting, dual high drag o-rings, and hydraulic damping features ensure stable shuttle positioning in any flow condition

Benefits

Exceeds API 16D test requirements

Non Biased shuttle valves qualified to 2500 cycles at maximum flow conditions

Pressure and Spring Biased shuttle valves qualified to 1000 cycles at maximum flow conditions

Shuttle metal seat

No longer requires coining, simplifying on-site repairs

All shuttle valves

Are hydraulically damped

Common stacked bodies

Can be readily reconfigured

Fully serviceable shuttles and body seats

Can be completely redressed inline
