retail design|chanel boutique project overviw Coco Chanel was a woman of innovation. She single-handedly created the fashion ideals after WWII. She was a visionary with a dream for her niche in high fashion.Coco Chanel made her Chanel line one of the most recognized brands world-wide. We chose to implement Chanel ideals and branding into the store appearance located in Jordan Creek Mall in West Des Moines, Iowa.

retail design|chanel boutique As a design detail we looked we reviewed the fabrication in the Chanel clothing line. Some trends we found most traditional of the Chanel brand is its use of quilting and tweed. We used these fabrics as inspiration for the space. We included a life size quilted wall and used the tweed pattern as our display case shelving system.
