1. ¾” x ¾” solid wood face frame

Gila cabinets collection features dimensions that adhere to 3” increments, offering a range of 9” to 36” in width for both regular Base Cabinets and Wall Cabinets. Height and depth usually come in standard (and unlisted) sizes. Other non-standard or special dimensions are either fully listed or unspecified.

Based on the environmental characteristics of solid wood and MDF, using solid wood for cabinet faces is generally considered a better choice for the environment than MDF doors. Solid wood is a natural and renewable resource that can be sustainably harvested, It is also biodegradable and can be recycled. MDF, on the other hand, is made from recycled wood fibers and resin. It can emit formaldehyde and other volatile organic compounds (VOCs) that can be harmful to human health and the environment.

We prioritize the use of solid wood from responsibly managed forests whenever possible, and we take steps to minimize our environmental impact throughout our operations.
