LEADING FROM THE FRONT
I
t’s time to celebrate the women of technology that have left the biggest impression on ourselves, our clients and the world. The ladies on this list should be rightly proud of their status as captains of industry, as they forge a path into bold new areas of innovation and technological ambition. Technology is no longer just about ‘digital strategy’, or the hardware and software a company uses. Now more than ever, we see the role of tech as horizontal across organisations and industries, as all departments transform their capabilities and learn from other industries in the process.

TOP 100 WOMEN
INSPIRED
F
ollowing on from last year, when we published our first Top 100 Women in Technology List, we felt it was only right to continue celebrating the work women leaders on doing in this field as they make their mark in a male-dominated industry.
Despite facing discrimination throughout their lives, these influential leaders have become wellrespected technologists at the forefront of innovation. The technology landscape is changing as the industry pushes for more diversity. Deloitte Global predicts that large global technology firms, on average, will reach nearly 33% overall female representation in their workforces in 2022, up slightly more than two percentage points from 2019. Although small, this increase signifies the
beginning of a shift as more companies continue with their campaigns to recruit, hire, retain, and promote women. Now, Deloitte believes technology companies may need to work even harder to improve these numbers. Nominated by readers of Technology Magazine and compiled by our in-house team, this Top 100 supplement features the leading female executives and influencers in technology. All of these women have been featured through their hard work, talent and determination. Celebrating women in technology should happen 365 days of the year, but today, we take a sharper look at those breaking the bias and leading some of the best teams in their field. Congratulations.
