Michele De Lucchi, known as designer and architect of significant buildings,
such as the Padiglione Zero at the Milan EXPO of 2015, has prepared a series
of hand-crafted wooden objects, assembled like densely packed haystacks. As
a protagonist of international architecture and industrial design, De Lucchi
attempts to keep his being centered on craft by sculpting these intimate
wooden totems. While they may resemble buildings, they do not correspond
to any building in particular nor do they have interior space. They are
architectural sculptures.
