LU1 SEM 1
BIO 110
RUBITE - LEC

the bio GOAT HAHAHAH
made us read chapterssssss of Campbell for her quizzes and depex kaya her items for the quizzes were all from the different versions of the Campbell test banks <33
medyo overwhelming yung babasahin pero fun din naman and VERY useful kahit for Bio 126
I love u maam,,, test bank is the key Real talk basahin niyo yung book since nandun lahat Kahit di na magnotes masyado sa lectures nasa book lahat.
depex was multiple choice then 5 questions na essay pero we never knew paano grinade yung essays namin because never naman nireturn meh
But u can choose the 5 questions since she gave 7 questions
Dapat over 105 yung depex, nagiging over 100 so bonus 5 points Has a plant named after her: Begonia rubiteae
idk not memorable
Mostly relies sa lec and other faculty
We had to grow plants yun lang naaalala ko
Pag sinabing familiarize yourself with the frog,,, imemorize

Memorize frog anatomy. also matagal sha magbigay ng scores
The quizzes were kinda difficult imo but theyre a small part lang of the grade
Very speed ng topics and deadlines
She was sweet and she sounded like she cared + her lectures were oki naman
best boy (2)(3)(4)(5)(6)(7)
Posts his powerpoints and his lectures are good naman
synch is a few hours only, reqs are not very intensive

You do everything as a group so just pick good groupmates
Super kind gave us chocolate after the second long exam <33
You can always ask for extension and he gives it naman most of the time
Attendance is required but sometimes he forgets
she’s super sweet !!
rarely gives sync (even if we ask for it cus we just wanted to meet her lol) gave review notes before the 2nd exam
classes were always asynchronous and we just watch his recorded lectures
**though he made them private na ata upon checking now
pros: pwedeng i-2x speed, rewind, pause, and watch it whenever you’re most productive (ex. if night person ka)
cons: you can’t ask questions real time, baka matambakan ka if you don’t watch it as scheduled
DEL ROSARIO - LAB PAGOSO - LAB GONZALES - LAB MATH 105 LLARENAS - LECvery responsive in canvas message
Don’t read too much into his tone kasi parang galit siya lagi sa canvas message pero ganyan lang talaga siya magtype HAHA
Mej mahirap long quizzes but nagrereuse ng questions, yung final exam galing lang sa previous quizzes/exercises so take time to review those better to make sure na you have good foundation of calculus na LOL kasi madalas sya mag-”I expect alam nyo na ‘to”
Good luck sa lec exams idk where sir gets his questions parang out of this world na talaga
you CAN’T go back sa questions so manage your time wisely if ever man online pa rin yung tests nya
If u have access to samplexes, use them! Maximize lahat ng resources mo ppts, buddy files, etc. kasi nagrereuse siya ng questions sometimes
Is it just me or talagang parang tinatamad yung tone ni sir pag nag lelecture
Very useful kahoot review sessions
REGASPI - LEC
Desmos and annotation galore fr
Optional lang attendance kay sir so lowkey di na kami pumasok HWHAHHAHA,, high yield lang pasukan ang mga review sessions niya before depexes
Mag-notes for “bonus points” (Sabi niya, bonus points daw pero kasali pala talaga sa grade grrr)
I only went to 2 synchs but i survived (2) (3)
Ask mong students for videos and help hehe Finals is required and medj heavy to your grade
TAN - LAB

The whole time we met her I never saw her face HAHA basically just assigns items sa worksheet you’ll do asynchronously then ipapakita nya paano i-solve kapag sync (once a week)
During lec itatanong nya kung ano sagot nyo whahaha kasi tinatamad sya mag calcu
Super considerate magbigay ng points in lab exams
One time namali ko yung buong graph but she gave me ⅚ points
Gives timely feedback esp every lab exam

OCTAVO - LAB

Very chill lang siya to the point na nakakaantok jk
Optional attendance hehe
Hindi agad makikita yung scores pero ididiscuss naman yung answers sa worksheets sa next meeting
All worksheets were automatically perfect IBERIBGBDFUIGBU she didnt look at it naman na
Monotone voice but she explains stuff naman
If you can do it yourself then don’t attend na LOL
You won’t see your grades for her assessments until the end of the semester, unfortunately (but guarantee she’ll perfect it anyway)

Super helpful ng discussions niya ng answers for every worksheet
MATH 10
OCTAVO
ok lang
Very chill magturo
nakakaantok
the samplexes were very useful since similar nature lang yung questions may very few questions na sa sync lang nya nadiscuss and wala sa module
Magaling magturo and she’ll make sure na gets bago magmove sa discussion
DO THE HOMEWORK kahit video watching lang yan so someone can recite when she asks questions
Boring but that might have been cause her class was until 7 so medj drained na I really don’t remember her i think i saw her lang during the exams na OOPS
Just recite and make sure to read the suggested links para she doesn’t get mad and modify ur deadlines
KAS 1

BONCAN
BEST PROF! Easy assignments, considerate, interesting lectures

REAL as in fill in the blanks lang yung majority of the assignments
But this was all online so di q sure kung paano si maam sa f2f
Like a grandma u love
Sadly retired na ata si ma ' am but she’s the best Kas prof fr!
Ang saya lang makinig sa mga stories na every sync
CARINGAL
Chill lang magturo pero may mga pa-surprise quizzes (good luck hahaha)
Lawl expect a goose egg
A lot got 0 cause she didnt teach the lesson yet and no announcement for the quiz but a lot got uno naman
Midterm and finals: long paper then long video but she grades high naman
Crammable exams
Surprise recit din sometimes
I dont remember anything she taught LOL
Achievable uno! (if you do the stuff)
ETHICS 1
CARAAN
Grades highly but you will only learn if you participate in discussions
No feedback at all, surprise na lang sa sais but mej ez uno!
she gives away notes for review para sa tests nya~
nag-aassign sya randomly ng person para mag-short recap ng discussion sa next meeting nung online classes
Run lol (2)
Basahin niyo talaga mga module and watch yung mga lecture vids na ibibigay niya
Read and answer the sample questions ahead !!
Make sure your answers are understandable for you so you can defend yourself if he asks follow-up questions

If you dk the answer good luck
Scary at first pero chika is da key
The more you talk about your life, the less time there is for recit
Make him sidetrack. He won’t realize that he’s going on a tangent until he’s consumed around 20-30 mins of his time sharing chika lol
BE BEADLE !! plus points
Lowest grade was 1 25
Dont cut him off when he’s speaking
He curves if everyone attends his class
92% attendance at least
If you’re absent you’ll have to write a paper
Lowkeyy fun lectures but scary recit
He’s makwento & asks about ur life
He’s pilosopo sometimes also u just need to learn to ride with it
HIGH YIELD; DESPITE ALL THE INTIMIDATION DURING RECIT, YOU’LL LEARN

SOMETHING TALAGA
Medyo nakakagulo si maam,,, and di nagbibigay feedback abt ur grade
kapaan din minsan di namin alam if sync ba or async yung klase
Mej darts siya mag grade
She made us watch Turandot and Ballet at CCP, very fun naman! (50 pesos for both tickets #budol)
When writing essays, you have to really know what ur talking about T _ T
you have to write a painting analysis and have 3 paintings pre-approved bago mo
gawan ng essay yun
medyo picky sya sa paintings so may possibility na ireject nya all 3 and ask you to find more na substantial I suggest find something na you’ll enjoy writing about

BAUTISTA
Very considerate sa deadlines!
Boring (attendance required)
But i left halfway when it got boring nd she started calling random people to recite Near the end of the sem, I think she realized that less people started showing up kaya she required attendance lol
Drawing drawing lang hehe but shes considerate w grading
Our finals were cut into half due to lack of time
Synch is just watching videos
PILATES
HOFILENA
Good at teaching and very nice but a lot of video outputs

Sasakit katawan niyo every week
Parang judge daw sya ata sa mga competitions (not sure what sport tho)
Sir is very considerate and even cancelled our finals HAHAHA
Worst professor ever!!!
this is a shared trauma for 2029 :D Screams at students
Sucks at teaching. I found weird ‘mistakes’ that I doubt are even accidental “Calcium deposition is removing calcium” he said it on multiple occasions just to mess with you

“LARGE INTESTINE IS WHERE MOST WATER IS ABSORBED” NO ITS NOT. If you ask to move your exams, he will threaten to fail or mark your class as INC Nice to his other non-IMED classes, selectively nice to IMED 2029…
Good lectures, okay quizzes, pero yung depexes ….
HAHAHAHAHAHA PRAYERS
me before exam: yey parang gets ko naman lahat at kaya naman! <3 me after exam: wtf parang di ako papasa ano yun?!
Madaling mapikon
Nawt considerate of covid
Very knowledgeable abt the subject, like you will learn smth naman but the exams were just out of this world good luck
he teaches SOOOO well imo and the weekly quizzes in particular were efficient to make sure na inaaral namin yung lessons para di kami matambakan so active recall na lang :(( pero sucks SOOOO bad at giving his exams so you just can’t get the best of both worlds
Be prepared to study like you never studied before just for a small chance to pass his exams
Ang lala mga 45% yung average score sa exams
K! RUN
Curver (REALLY?!) (wehh)
Lumenlearning is your savior
Oregon State Education for everything post-Integumentary System frfr

THIS IS THE BEST PROF!
MAPAPAARAL KA TALAGA
Trauma man tho its GOOD TRAUMA (di ka ba minahal ng magulang mo)
All the quizzes u will not take for granted
SIYA ANG NAGTURO SAAKIN KUNG PAANO MAGARAL
If matapang kang tao at gusto mong magaaral go nas (aanhin mo ang tapang if bagsak ka)
OH DIBA MADALI LANG YAN???
ABELLAR - LAB
Puro online lang kasi walang supplier ng cat pero ang slay ni sir super considerate niya
Tbh SUPER effective lecturer; clear and vv concise (mga <1 hr lecture for a 6-hr lab class!)
Good at simplifying concepts, tho we didn’t really receive feedback for our worksheets (these are important for the exams)
(1) worksheets are very important i think nireuse lang yung mga pics
LOL study the instruments used kasi lumalabas sila sa exam
Moving exam for lab pero di nakakapressure (?) yung vibes sa room kasi laging smiley
si sir
focus on understanding graphs and pictures kasi yun yung mga lumalabas sa moving exam
SUPER NICE and CONSIDERATE
he makes sure to consult the class when setting deadlines
one message away sa group chat
RODRIGUEZ - LAB

Kween and pretty (parang i know who put this)
And vibey
Love her, when the world needed her the most she pulled up (2)(3)(4)
Best prof!
She treats you like children if maingay but she does this out of love naman
Short quiz after the lessons
Moving exam for long exams

Went easy on us for the second long exam cause no one passed the first long exam Sagads the time but you can eat during class naman
Q nd A after the presentations but the questions come from the class lang naman not really from her
WE WENT CRAZY AFTER THE PHYSIO FOR DIGESTIVE but she figured it out naman at the end,,, fun moments
She makes u dissect :>> THIS IS FUN (not the washing)
Goated class, but 2-3 different lecture topics during a f2f session is dragging af and nakakaantok (cus first class in the morning)
THEY CALL HER THE BIG NIÑA
CHEM 33
Super considerate and gives a lot of bonus points makes sure that everyone gets to recite and gives chance to others if you fail one of his depexes, bawiin mo sa next ones and he’ll not require you to take his finals if you agree na with your grade
He gives the vibes that he doesnt want anyone to fail and we love it so much Very organized lectures, simplifies lessons so everyone can understand!!

(1) TRUE as someone na walang background sa orgchem he made me pass he made me appreciate the subject itself!
(2) sobrang slay magturo ng orgchem! wala ring palya magbigay ng lecture (recorded / f2f) ++ lahat ng coverage ng assessments n exams ay tinuro niya talaga sufficiently so <3333
Best chem prof! Straight from the textbooks yung content ng lectures and even yung questions during graded recits
Will add recit scores to ur exam scores as a bonus Lowers the denominators of exams para konti or walang bumagsak
GARCIA - LECFirst depex was so difficult and sir saw that so he adjusted the next ones and we love that
PSA depexes in chem 33 were different for our blocks; departmental but hindi same ng coverage, questions, and schedule kelan ittake
Mukhang mataray lang but he is super super nice
he just came back from japan after his PhD(??) and tbh I was very intimidated pero he was so good
ASK QUESTIONS!!! he’ll be glad to go back and explain it again

Doesn’t take attendance

he doesn’t judge if you sleep in class because it’s none of his business naman daw (eg. he used to have a student who sleeps a lot in his class but aces their test naman daw so ok lang AHAHAHA)
Nagbibigay ng feedback at sasabihin score mo days after (???) depex
VILLARANTE - LEC
Mabait sya pero welppp pagdating sa pagtuturo
Tuloy-tuloy sya sa lectures (speed & not organized) so expect na magulo notes nyo if nag nonotes ka
He assumes you alr have a good understanding of the lesson beforehand so hehe aral nalang
He still teaches and clarifies stuff during the zoom and doesn’t really berate you for not knowing the answer to his recit questions
May umiikot na snacks every test (talagang bibili pa si sir)
Be prepared to self study and the depexes are HARDDD
Use klein or other profs lec vids !! medj helpful in understanding the lesson but cant promise it will help in the exam
Theres exemptions for finals so work hard during the 1st nd 2nd depex (3rd and 4th are hell goodluck)
He does not fully use Canvas L. Good luck.
Just ask him for your quiz and exam grades when you have face-to-face
I love u quiming (3)
NELSON QUIMING IS UR BUDDY FOR SURVIVING VILLARANTE FR
CRUZ - LAB
LOVE U MAAM sobrang chill and considerate
Slight nagugulo sa tinuturo niya pero always willing to listen to feedback
Lab sessions were fun pero nakakastress kasi pati si maam nalilito sa protocol
Only complaint ko lang is she sometimes gives protocols late so it's hard to prepare for the materials on time :(
Very considerate and approachable, gives high grades
So nice and responds to any questions students might have literally the sweetest plus she came from upm din (bs biochem ata) so she understands us and the flooding HWHAHAHAA
MUÑEZ - LAB
Strict at madami reqs
Ma-arthritis ka sa pagddrawing ng schematic diagram (2)(3)
All handwritten kasi on a notebook that he will shred in the end of the year
Ghoster sa gmail
Nag rereply 12 am he just like me fr
Bro is always going to the beach for some reason (sir has time for the beach, but not for us…)
Late magpost ng requirements pero expect niya pa rin na on time kayo magpapasa
Goodluck nalang for presentation if he forgot to post the worksheet
Kahit exam late to open
Thorough in asking questions during group presentation

Mataray but promise he doesn’t mean it !!
He keeps saying na he doesnt wanna outright say no even if he does
Even if u don’t get the answer, he’ll consider u as long as u try
Nagmiminus for wearing crocs (open shoes na pala pag may small butas)
If you burn the classroom down he gives you plus points (fire fire fire)
Weh ba i wantt (jkjk)
He’ll feel awa for u
Flame on!

Kinda pulled thru in grading
HE DOESN’T LIKE BYJU’S. Don’t use it as a primary source in justifying your Q&A answers
MATH 101
Vibes ni sir pero sometimes nawawala siya sa discussion LOL
So true minsan kwentuhan nalang HAHA
But the kwentuhan sessions are so good
DLSU chronicles
Fun to get along with ! Masaya rin asarin LMAO
Considerate sa deadlines
Very chill and very hands-on approach in teaching
This can be a pro if you learn best by doing Tho if you prefer more organized lectures per topic, it might be a bit hard to keep up

Gives plenty of learning materials (handouts, activities, slides)
Exams covered what was taught naman so that’s nice
Sir answers stuff outside of class so dont hesitate to ask
Nagpapareview rin kapag malapit na exams
Puro synch but it’s enjoyable naman
Sir Vio best boy pero baka Mr. Mojica na siya sa inyo cuz he wants to be in his serious era (pls support his delulu)
Didn't really understand/appreciate stat in high school, but I really enjoyed his classes! He makes stat really fun to learn despite me myself being okay lang at stat
May supplementary R coding lessons na hands-on! Flexible din w deadlines
OCTAVO - LAB

From 1st sem to 2nd sem lagi sya nandyan para samin HAHAHA
If you thought you’d see the last of her in 1st sem, issaprank she’s back!!!
Best collab (with Sir Mojica)
Monotone still (2)
Optional attendance
She’s p chill
I never rlly understood ano purpose ng excel sa lesson but yas she ate that I second the motion
I think she teaches this subject better than Math 105 cus stat is her forte
MOJICA - LEC/LABCATALIG
Group quiz system kind of unfair but grades highly naman
Its giving survival of the fittest
Gusto niya may drama jk
goal niya atang pag-awayin lahat
Read the readings!! Verbatim mga tanong niya
Mataas naman magbigay ng grade
Mej weird magturo pero ok naman whahaha
He has cancellable opinions pero dont mind them na lang, ez uno naman!
He gives mad scientist vibes pero you do you sir
INOCENCIO

Sobrang chill lang niya LOL
He sends the ppts in advance then just reads them in class as discussions
Most of the reqs are essays by group
You are grouped by him so pray hard kasi medj heavy if someone doesn’t help For some reason ang hirap ng objective exam namin noong midterm lol (2)
Some have different answers compared to his lecture
But easy 5 points for the subjective essay
Grades high for reqs kaya this subj could be an easy uno for you ngl
WIKA 1
Looks super serious and NR pero may sense of humor si sir!!!
Has high standards pero he is considerate so dont be afraid to reach out to ask him about your assignments
(2) sa high standards pero tbh he rly recognizes effort and growth, u can rly see his passion sa subject niya so goods if u can share that din
Grades high naman basta may effort
Dont forget to always cite ur sources kahit sa mga video reqs lol
-10 agad if no references LMAO
Very understanding even if u r not too good in filipino, he focuses more on ur learnings and efforts!
Basta magparticipate sa lectures, may recit points
Over 100 lahat/majority ng mga gawain
Try to recite every class
Extra credit is watching a play (Ang Pag-uusig) so take that because maganda yung play
May variety yung mga pinapagawa niya sa class so hindi boring / dreading every meeting.
May entry siya sa Cinemalaya! Sabihin niyong sinabi naming maganda yung movie niya
:D
update: nanalo siya ng award woohoo
HILARIO
You feel like you’re talking to a classmate, she’s so funnn

Requirements are so easy lang tapos halos lahat groupworks
However, she kinda grades low so it’s hard to get a flat uno! (but lahat naman uno liner)
Lowkey halos wala kaming class all the time bc thesis niya pleas
COMM 10
Gg. Its over HE HATES IMED (allegedly)
The grades of all his classes mostly depend on IMED (no joke)
Did not want to take an IMED class, but no choice cos SAIS blueballed us
#JunkSAIS
You can learn but it’ll just be the hard way
Highest grade is 1.25
You need to set up meetings with him about your project which is super tedious
You can only discuss 1/10 of your actual project since he adds a lot of unnecessary information during the consult
But also very necessary info so you just have to learn how to discern

Join other class consults (same topic) !!!
Though there is a limit for consults, take every opportunity you have to clarify your content since he’s gonna start critiquing it when you’re presenting na BEST BOY!!!
Machika, you will learn all about his life and friends in COMM10
He will make you work for his comments during consult

His lessons make sense but only after he tells you
His approach in learning is “example first before theory” (if that makes sense)

Quizzes are open notes but all verbatim and time pressured which makes it stressful
Everything with him is verbatim
Sometimes tho, even verbatim is not verbatim for him so u need to analyze frfr
Perfect prof for the subject (the best)
May meetings kayo na manonood lang kayo ng movie
Discusses controversial topics na very interesting
Does not give much uno pero pwede na (like 1.25)
BALTAZAR
Love u maam kelly
Super supportive but also medyo demanding sa reqs ,,,
It can get overwhelming at times :(
Super considerate though, just ask her nicely and she'd most likely understand and adjust naman!
Mahilig magcanva hahahaa
Gagawa kayo ng comic strip sjdbjsns
Canva + Google sites master
Ang gulo whahaha
Good vibes siya tho
Para ka lang nasa Amazing Race every session LOWER! HARDER! STRONGER!!!!!

Start exercising before 2nd sem pa lang para di ka mapagod sa workout niya

Literally Andrew Tate minus the misogyny
He side eyes
I was a victim…
HE STRETCHED MY LEGS TOO MUCH, I GOT CRAMPS AFTER
SAS 1

Religious conservative; made us attend a pro-life, homophobic, antivaxx webinar on a Saturday, 10 mins before it started

So true medyo walang boundaries si maam
Madalas magbigay ng bonus points and considerate sa deadlines
Lola vibes fr; she loves her apos
Will make u write a review of 5 articles & 5 journals (but thats the only major output lang)
Kaya naman in 1 day kung may topak ka (17 hours BAYBEEEE) (based on real life experience) (u ate that)
Other activities are puro presentations or simple activities lang
WORTH IT
P valid f2f lectures kinda cos puro presentation
Bonus points for recit/sharing
What even is our lesson fr (frrr)
Asynch for her is synch (pagbigyan she kinda old)
she’s like your resident cool and kikay tita <33 a psychologist so she had a good background of SAS and always remind the class to not judge since personal subject talaga ito
Super many bonus points from recit or doing optional activities
TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THIS!
Fun lectures! Mej marami lang pinapagawa
“Read with feelings”
Ang daming requirements lowkey but doable naman
She loves to take screenshots of the class
Literal screen shots HUHUHU MAAM
Canva will be ur best friend; she gives points for creativity so even essays are canva
HAHA
real!! pick a template, edit a bit, copy paste your essay, suBMIT!
Encourages you to share during class
DEL MUNDO CARBALLOMARIANO
Be beadle
You need unli load but worth it
Dont message her on sundays
Meditation but good since it wastes time

1 async per week lang
Orals for the first requirement
Take note of ALL activities since required for your journal
BEST SAS PROF LOWKEY
Dogshow galore pero may sense gets?
Di required f2f attendance niya so pwede i-abuse HAHAHAH
Wag pasukan if madali ka ma trigger gives very emphasis on VERY graphic examples but overall these examples help u learn
although reqts r kinda heavy on writing (every week there’s a group discussion and/or integ papers) > u rlly need to think and it’s not rlly googlable BSHHAHAHAHAH
WOULD PICK HIM AGAIN THO U WILL LEARN A LOT
PI 100

NAVARRO
Interesting lectures basta f2f…
Nagdededuct ng points for absences kahit excused lol
Urmm
Medyo scary siya at first but he’s just really knowledgeable about the topic
Very knowledgeable → he is very specific with what terms, words, info, sources u use so make sure to fact-check and ensure that ur sources r not outdated
KAHIT WALA SI RIZAL, MAY REVOLUTION PA RIN !! OO NA
RIZAL IS NOT PAMBANSANG BAYANI!! (more like pambansang HEROE)
Intimidating and medyo scary but okay maggrade fr
BAULACAMPOMANES
Super nice prof he makes notes for you to read
Sends ppts early VERY ORGANIZED

He sends a folder containing all his class materials !
Lecs are interesting like legit he adds lots if little cool tidbits
He’s good Best boy!
Lenient with deadlines
3 syncs lang per week
He’s also funny and makes the discussion comprehensible !
You really learn more about Rizal in his class
