INTRODUCTION
Welcome to the Fine Arts Department at the Gulfport School District. We are proud of the different programs and classes offered on our campuses. Students can choose from art, band, choir, dance, guard, strings, and theatre. Our mission is to provide every student with a well-rounded, sequential, cumulative, and comprehensive arts education through an immersive experience.
We invite you to stay in touch through our newsletter, website, and multiple social media platforms. Please connect with us by participating in our many concerts, shows, productions, and events throughout the year. Our mission is to educate the whole student and enhance their educational and personal experience through the arts. We hope that you will choose to be a part of that experience this school year.

WELCOME TO ART CLASS!
Ariana S. created this sketchbook cover to represent herself! It's the same book she created and used all last semester. She returned to class this semester to continue filling it with fresh ideas. Ariana will use this as inspiration for her new sketchbook this year.
Art II and III classes are making sketchbooks. They are starting with decorating a cover. Art II is doing a graffiti version of their name using bright colors and various graffiti art techniques like drips, splats, and fades. The Art III projects are graphic design projects. The students are learning to use color palettes and layout pages.
