GGMDA 94th Annual Session Program

Page 1

Greetingstoall,

Welcome to the Ninety Fourth Annual Session of the Galilee Griggs Memorial District Association of Baptist Churches.

Once again, the Lord has blessed us to gather in his name for the ongoing work of ministry. There is much work to be done and I am praying that the meetings this week will prove fruitful so that all will leave stronger and encouraged to continue to labor in God’s vineyard during these troubling times. The harvest is truly plentiful yet, the laborers are few and all need prayer and encouragement.

The Covid numbers are starting to increase including higher percentages of hospitalizations. Therefore, I am asking everyone to follow the CDC guidelines necessary to help stop the spread of the virus by wearing a mask at your discretion. It is my prayer that God will keep you and your families safe from the Covid virus. I’m also praying for your protection from the many other catastrophic events that are currently plaguing the nation.

Please join me in thanking Pastor A. C. Stapleton and the Shekinah Tabernacle Baptist Church for an outstanding job hosting the Annual Session on last year. Their hospitality and the services provided were very much appreciated.

Our Theme for this session is:

“Envisioning theFutureThroughChristCenteredEvangelism”

Scripture: Jeremiah29:11,Acts1:8.

Thank you for your presence,

Laymen President

Dear Brethren, and all the Saints of God who are coming together from various churches for the purpose, and one cause, for that is to Worship and Praise our Lord and Savior Jesus the Christ for allowing the true fellowship of Galilee Griggs Memorial District Association of Baptist Churches to be able to celebrate its 94th Annual Session.

As Laymen President I am excited about this our Historical 94th Annual Session and looking forward to meeting the Brethren of the Laymen Department from our various churches, and all of the Galilee Griggs District Associat ion body of believers.

Our goal during the Administration is too close the gap between the Laymen and Pastors’ that we will become a unit of oneness within this great body of believers.

I am praying that all Brothers in Galilee Griggs Memorial District Association of Baptist Churches will come together in oneness in order to bring honor and integrity to the Laymen’s Department, to our District, and to our Moderator. I am looking forward to being an officer and member of this great organization, which we as a team can make things happen and also make life better for all involved.

May God bless you REAL GOOD, and may He ever keep you in His loving care.

Yours in Christ
